There are certain important things to keep in mind before venturing on Adsense activity.
If your website contains original informational content and you follow the Google policies, your website is sure to be approved by Google for three kinds of ads: Adsense for Content, Adsense for Search and Referrals.
-
Be fair to Google and yourself. If you click these ads yourself or prompt your friends to do it, sooner or later it will be found out by Google because it keeps track of repeated manual entries and your website will be banned.
-
Create your website professionally or for fun or for public service and not for search engines or Adsense. If you do this, you will not only enjoy working on your venture but will also be rewarded for being a genuine web publisher.
-
The content is the soul of this exercise and if your content is such that people keep visiting you, then you will be successful in Adsense program as well.
-
There are certain things to avoid:
-
Don't try to encourage clicks on your ads by requesting people to do so. This will soon backfire.
-
Don't try to get traffic to your website by creating pages filled with only links to other pages.
-
If possible, keep your website a low graphics one for smooth surfing even by those surfers who do not have a a high speed Internet connection.
-
How Google pays you? Google sends you either checks on your address or uses Western Union Money Transfer. You get your check once your balance is $100.
